Dr Zaid Ardalan is a consultant gastroenterologist at The Alfred Hospital and The Royal Melbourne Hospital in Melbourne. He completed his PhD in inflammatory bowel disease at The Alfred and has ongoing clinical and research interests in inflammatory bowel disease and intestinal ultrasound.

At The Alfred, he helped establish the Immuno-Oncology Complications Clinic with A/Prof Alex Bousiotous, providing multidisciplinary care for patients experiencing complications of cancer immunotherapy. The clinic has also developed into an active research program, supporting PhD and Master’s research projects.
