Dr Sean Tan is an academic cardiologist with advanced training in cardio-oncology, cardiac imaging and preventive cardiology. He is based at the Victorian Heart Hospital and is  post-doctoral research fellow at the Victorian Heart Institute at Monash University. Having completed a PhD investigating cardiovascular screening in patients treated with immunotherapy, Sean is the lead investigator for the multi-centre SOCRATES study which is evaluating the natural history of coronary artery disease and cardiovascular risk factors in patients treated with immune checkpoint inhibitors for melanoma.
