Dr Richard Kelly is an early career medical oncologist at the Peter MacCallum Cancer Centre in Melbourne, Victoria, with a particular interest in melanoma and genitourinary cancers, as well as experience in phase I clinical trials. He is currently undertaking a full-time PhD through the University of Melbourne in Health Services Research, investigating methods to better integrate patient preferences and priorities into treatment decision-making, particularly in the advanced cancer setting.

Dr Kelly is passionate about empowering patients to receive care that aligns with what matters most to them and developing practical approaches to routinely measure and incorporate patient-centred outcomes into clinical practice.
