Dr. John Prossor MBChB, MMed skin cancer, FRCGP, FRACGP, FSCCA, PGCME. graduated from the University of Leicester and holds a Master of Medicine in Skin Cancer Medicine from the University of Queensland, where he now serves as Senior Lecturer and Course Coordinator for the Masters programme. He is Lead Clinician at SkinMasters Terrigal on the NSW Central Coast, and an examiner for the RACGP. He holds Fellowships of the Royal College of General Practitioners and the Skin Cancer College Australasia, reflecting his long-standing leadership in primary care skin cancer medicine.

His current research, DEXI (Dermoscopy Explainable Intelligence), is an evaluation of an AI-assisted dermoscopy scoring system against histologically confirmed melanoma in situ in a primary care setting. He is a strong advocate for upskilling primary care physicians in skin cancer diagnosis and for embedding AI tools into everyday clinical pathways.
