Craig Lawn

Consumer Advocate and Chair, Consumer Advisory Committee, Melanoma Institute Australia

Craig Lawn has over 40 years of business and leadership experience and is an experienced health consumer advisor. He was with PriceWaterhouseCoopers for over 31 years, and as a partner for 20 years and  was on the national executive and the business leader for the tax and private client teams for PwC Brisbane and Sydney.

Craig is currently a director and chair of Key Assets Australia and Key Assets New Zealand( foster care and children services), Anglican Aid (overseas development) and previously as director of a number of private and public company boards. He is a consultant advisor providing business and strategic advice to a number of groups and charities.

He chairs the Melanoma Institute consumer advisory Committee, is on the executive and chairs the consumer advisory group for the MIA Roadmap for targeted skin cancer screening, is on the ACEMID executive and chairs the consumer committee, and is  a CI or AI on a number of their research grants and publications. He is also a member of Cancer Australia’s Research and Data Advisory group, Macquarie University Health Research consumer advisory group, and the ARDC Melanoma Challenge steering group to enhance the accuracy and reliability of machine learning models for melanoma detection.
