Adjunct Associate Professor Alex Chamberlain is a Specialist Dermatologist and Fellow of the Australasian College of Dermatologists (FACD)

He has been a Visiting Dermatologist at the Victorian Melanoma Service since 2005 and was appointed Adjunct Associate Professor at Monash University, School of Translational Medicine in 2024

He is a co State Examiner on the ACD National Exam Committee, and also serves on the Executive Board and as a National Representative for the International Dermoscopy Society

His special interests include dermoscopy, melanoma, early diagnosis of skin cancer, 3D-total body photography and onychology.

In 2022 he was co-editor of the textbook “Diagnostic Dermoscopy: The Illustrated Guide 2nd Ed'n (John Wiley & Sons; Oxford)
